I am back

I haven't visited this place for two weeks. What have you been up to 20six? And where did you get those shoes?

#200 - where are they now?

a very sexy man talks about his comic

Hey! Strip 200! If you're wondering what happened to strips 191-199 you should probably go and check the proper website . They are all guest strips by different artists and they are pretty cool - you really should take a look.

I seem to have made myself look like some sort of creepy giant-headed dwarf in this strip. Yay!

#201 - the power of LOVE - part 1

I have been getting sent lots of excellent pictures of fan-made Beaver and Steve objects lately (well, ok, two pictures, but that's more than usual) and they are stupefyingly excellent!
First up is this adorable Steve plush from Rosie Barnes (actually her friend made it, but she took the photo, which is almost as important):

I just wish I could figure out a way to mass produce hundreds of these. Not to sell, just to keep in my house so I could roll in them.

And as if that wasn't wondrous enough I also got sent a picture of these amazing t-shirts that Rodrigo Oso made:

He made them to enter a webcomic t-shirt competition over at the webcomics in print blog and unsuprisingly he totally won. Well done Rodrigo! My favourite thing about this photo is how Rodrigo and his girlfriend have both made expressions like the characters on their shirts. Beaver, you are so smug!

202 - the power of love - part 2

Did I mention I will be updating on tuesdays instead of mondays from now on? Well I am. Tuesdays are the new mondays. Mondays are the new wednesdays. Saturday and sunday will be combined into one long day called furglesday. But friday is still friday. Good old reliable friday.

summary fun!

So can anyone come up with a one sentence summary of Beaver and Steve?

the best I have so far is:

The surreal adventures of a beaver and his dimwitted lizard friend, as they accidentally meddle in the worlds of quantum physics, sorcery and fast food.

needless to say, this is awful.

The following blog entry is only for geeks. If you are not a geek please skip to the last sentence.

I recently got my hands on a brand spanking new, hot-off-the-press nintendo DS (the 'lite' version - I have to think of my figure). I have been playing mario kart against the computer, but shouting expletives as I get rammed repeatedly from behind by mario's mushroom (snigger) just isn't as fun if you're not racing against another person (especially if you're using public transport at the time). So if anyone out there has a DS too and fancies a race using the magical power of the 'internet' my 'friend code' is:

107447

352452

apparently. I will see you on the race track! And probably lose.

we now return you to your normal service:

I have only eaten biscuits twice in the last month. Twice!

#203 - the power of love - part 3

Beaver's record for weaving a basket out of coloured paper still remains unbroken.
